College of American Pathologists (CAP) Certification

RealTime Laboratories, Inc,  has been certified by CAP as meeting the highest standards in quality for a laboratory.  CAP is a national accreditation agency responsible for overseeing the performance of many types of labs.  CAP certification requires on premises laboratory inspecitions and rigid adherence to quality control standards.

Additionally, our laboratory is compliant with both Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA) and is inspected by the State of Texas Health and Human Services.

RTL also maintains compliance with Good Laboratory Practice procedures. Internal audits are conducted and compliance in all areas of laboratory excellence is assured.

RTL can conduct project studies with GLP compliance in the following areas:

• ELISA testing for common antibodies/antigens
• Development of new ELISA tests
• DNA development of tests in the areas of infectious diseases and specific genetic disorders.
• HISTOLOGY - in pre-clinical studies
• MYCOLOGY studies
